Earth Day Highway Cleanup

Meet at Foley’s parking lot on Hwy 50 at Chapin Road

Wear long pants and sturdy shoes and bring gloves. We have some pickers but bring your own if you have one. We’ll provide safety vests and bags and will have water available.

Kids are welcome if they are old enough to be safe on the side of the highway.

DNC Walworth County Caucus

Members must be elected as a delegate at the County Caucus to be able to vote in the CD1 Caucus to select 6 delegates and 6 alternates to attend the Democratic National Convention in Chicago. Attend to be heard and, possibly, selected as a delegate to the national convention. Resolutions for the platform will also be considered.

The caucus opens at 1 pm. Participants must register by 2 pm.

The cost is $35/person/$20 for students (register here), which includes a morning continental breakfast and lunch.

Attend the whole convention

This is a gathering of all the counties within our District. We'll elect new leadership and pass resolutions to be presented at the State Democratic Party Convention. These resolutions become the foundation to the party platform for the November election. Additionally, we have most of the current legislators and the candidates who will be on the ballot in November, i.e., State Assembly and State Senate. In addition, Mark Pocan and Both CD1 candidates, Lorenzo Santos and Diane Anderson, will speak as well.

Absorb the energy and information, giving you first-hand information and strategies to win big in November. This year, our very own UWW College Dems are co-hosting the event, so look for fun and enthusiasm. All Walworth Democratic members are welcome.
